Established by Martha and Tim in their Kula cabin in 1996 (today the longest surviving soap-maker on Maui), Kula Herbs roots are in cold process soap.

Using as many materials as possible from Maui and neighbor Islands, Martha developed 30 fragrances which we have all come to love.

Made in both 4 oz and 1oz bars, the soap attracted a good following and today can be found in homes and boutiques far from Maui.

Hand Made and hand wrapped with Hand Made Paper, and using only the best of Natural Oils available, Kula Herbs is proud of the product we make and the Quality Standards we adhere to. Kula Herbs is known for its generous lather and luxuriant feel.

Roy and Jenny took over operations in 2010 to continue the great work Martha and Tim had started. Operating today from nearby to the Vineyard location, Kula Herbs continues in much the same way: quality soap, one bar at a time, hand wrapped, made the old-fashioned way.

Since moving operations several new products have been added to the line, each with a view to providing our retail base a range of lotions, crèmes, butters and oils using the same fragrances developed by Martha.

Each addition has been personally hand-crafted here on Maui, mindful of using local materials. Made to the same exacting Standards that we use in Cold Process Soap making, we measure and blend ingredients with the most accurate digital equipment. Proud to make our products here on Maui and we constantly monitor local content so that we meet the Made on Maui test.

Today with our new Tan Product due to be launched shortly, we are pleased to offer a full range of quality products, each carefully crafted and made to exacting standards.

Please enjoy our Kula Herbs products and tell your friends, we really do appreciate your support.
